American singer Willis White found the microphone in his first church solo at the age of 3. He would explore a host of musical styles in the years to come including gospel, soul/R&B, acappella, classical, jazz, Broadway, electronic and modern pop.
Willis' skill and passion as a performer has landed him in several Broadway casts (Hairspray, Spelling Bee, In the Heights), as live vocalist support on major television networks (AI, DWTS, Duets), and in venues internationally in the capacity of vocal artist.
He continues to produce original tracks as a recording artist/singer-songwriter/vocal arranger, and collaborates with producers on new works spanning several musical genres.
Armed with a five-octave range and the ear to decipher, lock, improvise, arrange, and create harmonies, Willis' particular ace as a musician has been his ability to coach vocals and teach parts. What started at the age of 6 as instructing parts in the church choir has grown into guest conducting ensembles internationally and maintaining the vocal integrity of several Broadway and professional stage ensembles.
